Good God, they now have a young "clergyman" on Fox "News"!!?
Is this guy new? He's on 'Hannity' wearing his black suit and white collar and is identified as a "Fox News Contributor", so we all know what THAT means. I'm watching him talking over a guest who is -- in an unbiased manner -- assessing the different possible Republican candidates and giving his opinion on who has a chance to beat President Obama. And he said, "they would need to concentrate on the economy; however the economy has improved." This clergyman is saying, "this massive debt we have to leave our children and grandchildren is unacceptable!" All I'm wondering is two things: 1) what's a clergyman doing on Fox News?, 2) Why is it that the folks on Fox want to invent credit for Bush in taking out bin Laden because of "related activities during his presidency" yet they completely blame Obama for the troubled economy and absolve Bush from any "related activities during his presidency" on that issue? Isn't that selective reasoning? And do you think they can really sell #2 to the American people?

S.O.S in need of help for confesions 10 points fast?
O.K. your contrition has to be real. You have to be Catholic. You have to tell what the sins are ....and if you don't know this much you should contact your local parish and make an appt to talk with a priest. They will tell you what your next move is.
Is being an atheist a way to absolve oneself for having broken the third commandment?
In a word: no. Your God promises forgiveness if you repent. Why would we, instead of accepting that forgiveness, "pretend" to not believe in him, which is a much bigger sin? It's absurd. We don't believe because all the evidence people point to falls incredibly short of even suggesting the existence of ANY deity, let alone the Christian God versus the flying spaghetti monster or Zeus.
Muslims: Why is it so difficult to understand you need God’s forgiveness through the Savior Jesus?
Your offences are **also against the Creator** not only against other people. All your restitution, denial, human goodness will ever absolve **even one offence** against the infinite, eternal, just Creator. Your Creator is merciful and loving; but also just; perfectly, absolutely just. In an astonishing act of grace (undeserved favor) He provided the way for your offences against Him to be removed, when you confess your sins to Him and ask His forgiveness; He will! Then turn from them proving your repentance is real. Trust that His Son Jesus provided the only payment big enough for your sins against took the punishment your sins deserved, on His cross.

How to handle my parents/boyfriend at grad dinner?
Tomorrow is my grade twelve grad and my parents and my boyfriend and I are going out for dinner after convocation. I've always had a close circle of a few friends, but I'm not big on the whole 'dance' or 'banquet' things so we're just going out for dinner instead. I'm really nervous about this because even though my boyfriend is a great guy, my dad doesn't think so. My parents are divorced and he lives in a different city so he hasn't had the time opportunity to get to know what a great guy my boyfriend is like my mom has. Also, my boyfriend and I met through church and are very religious, something my dad hates, he's a bit older than me, and in general there's a lot of discomfort with him there. He tends to be openly judgmental in these sorts of situations, and I was wondering if anyone has any tips for how I can direct conversation away from anything that may make things more awkward than they already are. Thanks!
