Would a loving father sacrifice his son, when he didn't have to?

Good question. People say jesus had to die for our sins, but sin is just whatever this god doesn't care for at the moment, and has nothing to do with right or wrong. For instance when the hebrew people in their bible are order to kill every man woman and child, NOT slaughtering infants in a mass infanticide would be a sin. So jesus came to save us from the fact we do moral things that god doesn't like? That's insanity. That is hitler/stalin level insanity. And why would an all powerful being NEED a sacrifice? He's making the rules, so why make that one? Why would killing someone be the key to 'paradise'? It's obvious christians don't think things through very well.
