Next year I will start working towards my masters in Social Work. The only set back, however, is whether or not I'll have the money to pay for it. I want to be a professional dancer. Any advice?

I started dancing when I was nine and stopped when I was twelve due to an illness. I just started back up in November at the age of sixteen (I'm now seventeen) but in a few months I managed to achieve my splits, double pirouette, and reach the skill level of the other girls in my class who have been dancing since they learned to walk. On a whim I decided to audition for the studios dance company and made it. I'm taking a week of summer intensive in July, and next dance season I'll be taking a ballet class, jazz class, and the dance company class (all mandatory to be in company) but I can barely afford that so any more classes is out of the question. But my thing is, I'll be going into my junior year of high school and I really want to go to college for dance (contemporary/lyrical/that sort). Is there anything I can work on at home or anything else that will help me achieve that?

Your heart has 3built in pacemakers. These are speacial cells that send out a small electric charge that spreads through the heart telling it to beat. The main one is the sinoatrial node, in the top right of your heart. The other 2 are lower in the heart and act as backups. If the heart doesn't get a signal from the sinoatrial node, the others can act in it's place, but your heart will be slower as they do not send a signal so often. I think this may be your problem. When i was twelve/thirteen I used to shower every other day because my hair never got oily. At thirteen/fourteen I HAD to shower everyday because my hair got oily so quickly. I didn't like it when I started reading it, but it really captured me in the second stanza. It sounds a lot like a Indie song, haha. I like it overall, but I'd only give it about a 6 or 7 . It's very predictable. I agree with the user above me. I'm tired of love poems and typical scenarios. I see a lot of potential in your writing and your last stanza is absolutely beautiful, but it would be better as a song rather than a poem. As a song, it's quite good. Fear of sleeping over at someone's house?

When I was younger (around eleven or twelve), my little sister developed a Separation Anxiety Disorder. She was terrified to sleep away from home, and convinced that if she did something really bad would happen, like our parents dying or something. Eventually she grew out of it, but not before her panic had infected me. It started out as SAD, but eventually I lost the fear that something bad would happen, and I'm just terrified of sleeping at a friend's house. I'm fine sleeping at family member's houses, and I'm also fine camping or staying at hotel's...but the thought of spending the night at even my best friend's house makes me break out in a sweat. I've had this issue for years, I'll be Seventeen in November and I haven't spent a night at someone's house since I was maybe twelve. My hard drive space is missing!?

I have 5 Hard Disk, running on Windows 7. My C: is the main one, I install all of my programs on it. A few days ago I saw that it has 106 free GB (it has 195 GB). Yesterday I saw that it has only 95 GB left. I did not install or download anything in this month. I deleted some unnecessery crap and it had 105 GB. Today until 12:00 PM CET it had 105 GB. I have scaned my computer for viruses with ESET Smart Security and it showed me 9 inflitrations. I deleted them and now i have 103 GB! Please Help!!!

Okay my situation is a bit different from any of the others that I've read on here so I thought I'd start a new discussion and see if anyone has any advice because I could truly use some. First of all let me say that I am NOT taking ANY of the responsibility for this away from my husband. I immediately filed for divorce & we are going thru the court system right now. However I have alot of anger towards the married woman who slept with my husband. Again, I know that he was just as wrong as she was and I am NOT trying to excuse his behavior however after getting to know my husband in a semi-professional setting he opened up and told her that he was in treatment for sex addiction and told her about the steps he was taking and the process that he was going through to break free from this addiction. Within a very short period of time she had him over to her home to do some professional contracting work for her & her husband. While he was looking over the work to be done, she went and changed into a robe with nothing underneath & began rubbing his shoulders, etc. Again, I AM NOT excusing my husbands behavior because he could have easily told her no & could have easily removed himself from the situation and he did neither of these things and instead had sex with her. They continued this for awhile until she started demanding that he leave me & our children & threatened to expose him by telling me what he had been doing. She even told him that she had driven by our house to see if I was home one day. This prompted him to tell me everything. I immediately threw him out & filed for divorce. And then I called her to let her know that he had told me everything and that she needed to leave him alone. She proceeded to try to tell me about all of the things they had done sexually and I just hung up the phone on her. She continued to call me that day. As I have stated, I am in NO WAY trying to absolve my husband of his actions, but I feel as if she used the situation and the knowledge that he had shared with her & her husband to seduce him. Of course he could have said no & he didn't and that was his fault & he is the one that is paying for it. But she actually had the nerve to tell me that I just didn't understand because her husband is so much older than her and she just had needs just like my husband and they were able to help each other. She didn't help him, she has (they both have) destroyed his life, literally. He has lost his home, his children, and is very close to losing the business we have spent more than a decade building. He is remorseful to the point of contemplating suicide and he is now seeing another therapist for that. I have some sympathy for my husband because I see how very bad he feels for what he has done to our marriage and our family and because I know how badly he has struggled with his addiction. Both of our extended families have been devastated by this also. However, I feel nothing but anger and vengefulness towards this "other woman'". She was in no way remorseful. She not only knew my husband was married she threatened to expose him if he tried to stop seeing her. At first I didn't believe anything that my husband said in regards to her & it was only when I actually called her myself and listened to the things she said that I realized that he wasn't lying about the threats she made. She actually tried to justify her actions by saying that her and my husband were just alike and that I just didn't understand. This has completely devastated our family & when I spoke to her I simply wanted her to understand that there was a true family involved, with young children and that she could have chosen someone else if that was her needs & she didn't have to intentionally go after someone who she knew would be easy for her. I guess I just wanted her to think about her actions for the next time she did this with someone else's husband. Instead she just said that she wasn't getting what she needed from her husband and that her & my husband were able to together. To see the effects this has had on my family & even my soon to be ex-husband is so devastating. His therapist is talking about having him committed for his own safety. Is there anyway that I can ever forgive this 'woman' for what she has done and her complete lack of remorse for the damage that she has caused? I can't even explain the anger I have when I think of her driving by my home where the children and I are and calling my husband to let him know that she is doing it & willing to knock on the door & destroy his family. How can a person like this even live with themselves & how can the rest of us come to terms that there are people out there like this? If anyone has any advice, I just can't tell you what it would mean to me. I would like to destroy her happiness like she has done mine, my children & our family. I'm 16 and a sophomore in high school; however, I suffer from chronic daily headaches and migraines. I was recently on Topamax which gave me horrible side effects. I went through a sleep study where they found I have minor sleep apnea and am being treated with nasal irrigation and physical therapy on my neck until I do a follow up. I also have acid reflux (possibly triggered by pain medications such as ibuprofen or heredity) and grind my teeth which is contributing to an extreme loss of sleep and several awakenings throughout the night. I have missed several days of school because of my inability to go due to migraines or simply being so tired. I have so much work to do from school and my problems are getting worse and obviously affecting all aspects of my life; it's hard to understand by other people because they believe I'm being "lazy" , I have nothing really to prove them wrong seeing as my attendance and grades are equally affected. sometimes we are told of a disease that we have from our doctors and we do not want to accept it. It will eventually sink in and you will learn how to live with it, most of what you have said sounds like you have fibromyalgia. Get a second opinion from another doctor to run more tests on you but then again there goes the insurance money. My friend has fibromyalgia and she is on disability after fighting and getting a lawyer. I haven't really researched fibromyalgia but I am sure it's a disease associated with a lot of pain in the bones. I am young and was told I have to be on high blood pressure meds and didn't want to accept it. I was put on lisinopril and now I am suffering from a right frozen shoulder, a side effect from lisinopril. I read up on frozen shoulder and it's common in people 50 and up. I am no where near 50 so I too am wondering why am I suffering from this condition and the high blood pressure. I saw on tv today a kid suffering from diabetes when he was just 2 years old. Don't worry, it's completely normal at your age to be craving sweets and eating alot with all the hormones due to puberty. Try to do things to keep your mind off food. Lose yourself in an interest or find a hobby you enjoy. Try doing some cardio exercise to maintain your weight. And tell your parents to stop buying so many sweets or junk food as it affects you negatively or simply eat in moderation. Tell yourself, you can have just one or two cookies and that's it. It's all about will power. Replace those sweet cravings with some fresh or frozen fruit. It tastes good and is a lot healthier. If you increase your intake of fruits and vegetables, your body won't be looking for that extra sugar from processed foods. And remember to drink plenty of water. As for the stomach, you can do a combination of cardio exercise and crunches and/or sit-ups on a daily basis to tone it up a bit. Since you're still 12 and not fully developed, some belly weight may go into your height too. Stay confident and please don't go on any diets. And don't take it to the extremes, you're still young, enjoy life and try not paying too much attention to weight! Good Luck!! :)

My daughter is allergic to milk, so she can't have anything that has uncooked milk in it. She has four teeth but can't chew well, she can only mash. So I first "fell in love" with this character when my grade three teacher started reading the Harry Potter books in grade three. That was when I was eight. Whenever people complain about their mothers and they were a single parent other people always tell the kid to give their mother some slack? I understand that it is very hard to raise a child alone, but should that change the way the mother is to the child? My mother was an emotionless wreck. My dad left when I was 5. Dogs and cats are scaring my horses?

Okay so I've been at the same barn for the about twelve years that I've been riding and I love my barn. I currently ride at the barn and board my six horses and I've never had a problem until recently and it is worrying others and myself but we need some advice. Okay so the owner of the barn is rarely there and the others there are the riders, boarders, trainers, and stable hands. There is this one trainer named Jackie and she is new and came in March and she used to live in the mountains with farm animals but has never worked at a barn until now so she is new to it. Anyways, she has more than one dozen cats and four dogs. The dogs just run around barking and the cats are everywhere and once they were even in one of the stalls but luckily someone saw the cat before we went in with the horse. However, once I was riding my horse named Spirit Runner who gets spooked easily and I was riding her when a dog came running and she started neighing and I was nearly thrown from her back because she was so scared. There have been other incidents with other horses getting spooked and one was running around the barn for an hour and we couldn't get him because he saw a cat or a dog. This has become a huge problem and we don't know how to address Jackie or if we should tell the owner of the barn because we have to be on the lookout every minute to check for her dogs or cats and it has become a nuisance lately because it is a HORSE farm not a dog or cat farm. So much pain after tonsillectomy?

A week ago yesterday I got my tonsils out. They said everything looked fine and I could go home after about an hour in the recovery room. The first two days I was really well compared to what I thought it would be like those days. Then on the third day I was in a lot of pain. It got better on the fourth and the fifth. Then the night before last I got a really really bad ear ache in both of my ears after eating dinner. I took the prescription pain killer (Tylenol with codine that I had stopped taking maybe after the fourth day) and was fine. Then yesterday I woke up with a horrible ear ache and took plain extra strength Tylenol for that. Then after I ate dinner yesterday I got a really really bad earache that didn't go away for a few hours until I took more medicine. Then last night I went to bed around midnight and woke up at one am and was in excruciating pain in my right ear with pain (although minimal) in my left ear. I started to cry and in about half an hour the pain started to die down and I went back to sleep. At four in the morning I woke up again and was in so much pain, I hoped the pain would die down like it did earlier in the night but it didn't so I took more of the perscription, but it felt like it did nothing. Then I woke up this morning at nine and was in a lot of pain again. I quickly surfed the internet for things I could do to numb the pain. I'm now icing my right ear and its working a little, I am not in as much pain as I was when I woke up but its not so little I could just forget about it. Please help, I'm only twelve going to be thirteen soon and I don't want to be in pain on my thirteenth birthday. Also, I'm starting summer camp for musical theater next week and I have to sing and dance and act, but it hurts to talk how am I going to be able to sing? Everyone says I should be talking fine because it has been more than a week but it hurts like hell! I don't know what to do?

i want to lose roughly twenty pounds and give myself until december. i'm 5'7, 145 pounds and am female (14). i will eat very lean (moderate portions of chicken breast, fish, peanuts, whole grain, fruits, Lots of water, soy milk, Eggs, etc.) and i'll eat regularly as i've heard it help strengthen your Metabolism. i do dance once a day for an Roughly an hour and on top of that 'work out' three times a day. -- wake up at twelve at stretch, four sets of thirty situps, three sets of Calf raises, Etc. do this at twelve, four, eight. get plenty of sleep each night. If i continue this everyday, do you think i'll come close to my targeted weight? oh and p.s. if you have any other abs and thighs strengthening excer., please mention below :)

How can i convince my parents to let me go up to my cottage on spring break?

March break is in two weeks and i was thinking of taking of a couple of friends up to my cottage with me. Christians say that Jesus died for our sins. I have never understood this statement. It implies that our sins are absolved because if his death. But then those same people say "we're all born with sin". So... not only can you not commit any new sins, but your account is already in the red before you even get started. Is this guy new? He's on 'Hannity' wearing his black suit and white collar and is identified as a "Fox News Contributor", so we all know what THAT means. How to handle my parents/boyfriend at grad dinner?

Tomorrow is my grade twelve grad and my parents and my boyfriend and I are going out for dinner after convocation. I've always had a close circle of a few friends, but I'm not big on the whole 'dance' or 'banquet' things so we're just going out for dinner instead. I'm really nervous about this because even though my boyfriend is a great guy, my dad doesn't think so. My parents are divorced and he lives in a different city so he hasn't had the time opportunity to get to know what a great guy my boyfriend is like my mom has. Also, my boyfriend and I met through church and are very religious, something my dad hates, he's a bit older than me, and in general there's a lot of discomfort with him there.
